Well, I'm fairly new to Halifax, having lived here since April. My question: Are there any RPG fanatics in the list. I've been trying to find gamers in HRM. I typically play D&D 3.5, I used to have a group when I was living in Winnipeg, and looking to hook up with a live group here. I've tried other online resources: meetup.com, etc., but haven't been able to get anything going yet.... Note: This has nothing to do with computer games or LARPing. Looking for traditional table-top group.

You might be able to meet up with people at Games Workshop over at the Halifax Shopping Centre Annex. I know that they have game rooms there, and I wouldn't be surprised if they have private tournaments.

My D&D Meetup group doesn't seem to want to meet other people in person. I hear All Goods has events, but like Games Workshop, their prices seem higher than they need be. I'm only into table-top gaming, never got into cards, buying RPG books is expensive enough! Anyway, thanks for the tip, if you know people looking for live groups, you can drop me a line or go the the Dartmouth D&D Meetup.com group and sign up.

there's a new gamers section at the top of the group here right under General. Myself I have a group that plays warhammer fantasy role playing and for now I am trying to get in warhammer fantasy battles....I love playing magic and am always looking for people to play. I can't usually make it to dal on saturdays because I own Ballbreakers Paintball in spryfield and saturdays are one of my busier days. D & D well I have some friends trying to start a 3.5 campaign but I think they want to keep it to people they know...not sure though...they have kids and don't venture out to do their gaming
