dude, you have to be a strong guy. I don't know what I would do if my kids were that far away. My boys are my life, and although I don't see them very often, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss them. Kudo's to you, man, for being able to get through it. Sorry to take so long to get back to you on this comment... With my job at Elco, I rarely get on the boards. Ironically enough, I only work 8.5 hours a day.. it's the hour long bus ride that kills me! Now if my tablet were working I could do at least some of this stuff off line! Yes, it was extremely hard to leave my kids behind.. and I stayed in Winnipeg as long as I could to be there for them, but I got tired of being broke! The last straw was having to go to the food bank to feed my family despite the fact that I was working. I think it's hardest on my son... he misses me I miss him, but I do what I have to. Most of my family is out this way, I wanted to give my parents a chance to be grandparents for a change.

Thanks for all the words of support. How old are my kids? Well the one's with my first wife who live in the 'Peg are 11 and 9. The boys that live with me here are 8 and 3. I think it would be harder if I had no kids here at all.. but younger two keep me busy.
