does neone out there know how long after getting an IUD put in that u can wear tampons? also, how long does the bleeding last after it is inserted (im on day 4 and it hasnt let up)? also, i know after giving birth they say to go to the docs right away if the blood is bright red because it could indicate a tear in the uterine walls...does the same go after insertion of an IUD? i noticed this morning that i was bleeding bright red, should i be worried about it?

If the bleeding hasn't stopped, I would get concerned JD... I know, I'm not a girl, but as you can tell from previous posts, I'm not a typical guy either...  Unlike some men, I don't get squimish over female issues... |

no worries guys, it stopped a couple of days ago, i think my biggest prob is jus that my iron is low (pass me the spinich..)
