hehehe... posted this on another site and got quite a discussion going. jus wanted to see what ppl here think.
jus wondering what all the ladies (and not so ladies) out there think about the whole "feminist movement", which btw is still being carried on. is there anyone out there who thinks that, at this point its a load of bs? i think the women who are pushing this aren't looking to be equal to men, but "more equal" than men.
this should get a good discussion going....
i would however like to point out that im talking about the modern feminist movement and not the past movements. the feminists of the past have helped us get where we are now, but there is no need to push it any further.

Well, I'm going to get the whole heated discussion going here... The 'modern' feminist movement tends to be little more than reverse discremination. I don't know if it's gotten better over the years, but when I was in University, the feminist groups were nothing more than a gathering of male bashing, we've been surpressed for years so we want payback, type of groups. Which defeats the whole egalitarian concept in my mind, but who am I to talk, I'm just a dumb male to most of them... Outside of government wage inequalities, I see a heck of a lot more programs, organizations, benefit groups, and social programs out ther for women. But don't see anything for your average Joe. It's gotten to the point where being a caucasian male is a curse cause (excuse my language) ther's dick all out there to help us through anything. Just my 2 cents.
